We tried King Hotpot for the first time after seeing their grand-opening post on Facebook. The restaurant is very nice, clean, and has a good selection of side dishes. The hot pot was okay, but I wish there were more choices of meat. Some of the meat was also a little chewy. My children really enjoyed it, which was a big plus! My mom wasn’t as impressed, but overall, I thought it was okay. Hopefully, they’ll add more meat options and improve the tenderness of the meat. Overall, it was a decent first experience, and I’d be willing to give it another try.

We are so excited that King Pot opened up so close to our house, and were very pleasantly surprised by the variety of choices they offer for both hotpot and kbbq! You always know a place will be good when their sauce bar uses fresh garlic and chilis (iykyk), and I’m obsessed with their different Chinese desserts (sago is a must try). Their meat quality was good, and their seafood options were plentiful and had fat portions too! Pricing wise was very reasonable as well compared to some other places. It was also convenient to order because each table had their own iPad, so we didn’t need to wait for our server to come back when we wanted to order more food. Overall, we will be back! Can’t wait for this place to have their official grand opening; we are looking forward to having them in business for a long time :)

Quality meat , Joseph our waiter was great and meat came out contnuously. For being a Korean bbq place, it’s missing a few things like gojuchang, salad in a steel bowl, rice noodles to wrap the meat in. What sets it apart from other Korean bbq places is ability to make your own sauce with the hot pot sauce bar. You don’t have to use the traditional salt, pepper , sesame oil sauce, make your own with variety. The short rib was great and at dinner crab legs but oddly no hot butter but I grilled the crab and used my hot pot sauce . So a few misses during soft opening but this is indeed the best spot for kbbq because of meat quality but needs a few tweaks to make it 5 star .

Tony took great care of us! We decided to try the BBQ and we're not disappointed. The Smoked Pork Belly was especially tasty and our favorite. The Beef Bulgogi and Garlic Shrimp were close runner ups, though. Tony brought over his own special sauce that had an excellent sweet and spicy combination. It went well with everything. They have a huge appetizer and sauce bar, along with suggestions for making your own sauces/dips, which we definitely appreciated. Next time, we'll have to try the Hot Pot. Come hungry and you won't be disappointed.

McKinney finally has its own all-you-can-eat BBQ and hot pot! They officially opened today, so I brought my family to give it a try. The restaurant has a modern, upscale atmosphere, and every staff member was warm and welcoming. The food was fresh, delicious, and well worth the visit. We’ll definitely be back to support them. Wishing them great success!
